Kids & Youth

It is very important for families to worship together, but a message for an adult audience can be a challenge for our younger ones. Kids’ Church is for kids in preschool and up, where they can connect with each other and with the Bible using Celebrate Wonder One Room curriculum. Celebrate Wonder All Ages seeks to celebrate spirituality through wonder. This curriculum is based on spiritual practices, which are incorporated through play, discovery, biblical exploration, faith conversation, and relationship. Children who participate in Celebrate Wonder All Ages will come to know and use spiritual practices as a way to deepen their faith and to grow in their spiritual identity as children of God. We hope you will come wonder with us as we celebrate the Spirit of God in the lives of children. Kids’ Church meets in the Fellowship Hall adjacent to the Nursery, where littler ones can enjoy some free play after the story, while older kids continue with activities related to the lesson. Parents can be a part of Kids’ Church or stay upstairs for Big Church and meet up with their kids after worship downstairs in the fellowship area.

Most events and activities at Holy Trinity are Intergenerational, allowing families to be involved in fellowship and service to others together, and helping our younger and older members and friends to interact. One way is through our Kids’ Church and Nursery programs, which help adults find value as assets in the lives of our kids, while helping our kids build a community of faith, and their parents get an opportunity to focus on Big Church worship. We provide training and background checks for our adult leaders, ensuring everyone feels safe and loved as they learn. Contact Lynnette for more information on how we do this!

Kids can lead at Holy Trinity by helping with ushering, handing out bulletins and activity sheets, greeting at the doors, and even reading scripture during worship! Older kids can sing in choir, help lead Vacation Bible Camp, and help advise and lead Family Ministry activities. Contact Lynnette to get started!
