Camp Firelight VBS 2024
invites us on a summer adventure
where we learn to trust God
no matter what situation life brings!

Through crafts, science, music and movement, recreation and stories from the Bible, campers learn to face their fears while trusting in God. Each day, we will face new challenges together as we explore timeless Bible stories that show how Old and New Testament Campers trusted God in the face of their own fears and went on to do great things in God’s name.

This program will teach us to trust that God will go with us, lead the way, share wisdom, give us peace, and spark joy as we celebrate the good news of Jesus in our own lives and in the lives of others. We will also learn ways we can connect with and put our trust in God whenever we are afraid, challenged, or called to do God’s work in the world and to share the Good News of God’s love through Jesus Christ.

There is no cost for this program! VBS includes dinner each night, a T-Shirt and lots of fun activities! T-shirts can only be guaranteed for kids who register by July 25.

You can support Camp Firelight by sharing it with your friends or by making a donation with “VBS 2024” noted on the payment. Older kids and adults can register to be helpers by contacting Lynnette at kidsandfamilies@htumc.org.

Schedule:

• 5:00-5:20 Dinner, Story and Music (+ ten minutes transition)
• 5:30-7:25 Activity Station fun!
• 7:25-7:30 Closing and Parent Pick Up.

On Thursday evening, families are invited to join us at 7 p.m. when the kids will share some music they have learned, followed by a short message.
