Freaking ourselves out for entertainment is a thing this time of year, and our youth would like you to enjoy some scary fun hosted by them and their friends! We will be haunting the building next to the church (known to us as The Parsonage most of the year) from 6-8pm on Saturday, October 26. We will also be showing Coco, an animated movie (outdoors if weather permits) featuring a young musician who enters the Land of the Dead in search of a musical ancestor. We will have delicious pizza while it lasts from our wood-fired brick oven, courtesy of Bread Oven Ministry team, and popcorn, beverages and other snacks. Bring a blanket, coat, lawn chair and/or sleeping bag to make your movie experience more comfortable. This is free and all are welcome!
How scary will it be? Pretty scary but we are having fun, not stopping hearts here. I mean, not deliberately. Our target age is middle school but youth and adults of all ages are welcome. Younger children are welcome at the discretion of their parents. Flashing lights will be present and could be a risk for people who are sensitive. We care! We aren’t monsters…until the Haunted House begins.
Check out our small kid friendly (but fun for older kids too) Fall Fest on Sunday, Oct 27!
