Christmas Eve worship

We have three Christmas Eve worship options, all online. Hopefully one or more of these services will bring meaning, hope and joy to your Christmas experience this year!

  • Beginning at noon, there will be two video options:
    • A “Family-Friendly” service, suitable for all ages.  This service will offer you the opportunity to sing along with several familiar Christmas carols, hear a Children’s message, watch and listen as the Christ candle is lit, and watch as several families from our church present “The ABC’s of Christmas.”
    • A “Traditional” service.  This service will include familiar carols, the lighting of the Christ candle, the reading of the Christmas story from the Bible, a brief message, and an opportunity to participate in the traditional candlelight closing.  For this service you may want to have a candle, or candles for everyone present.
  • At 9 p.m. we will experience our first Live Stream worship with our Contemplative Christmas Eve.  his will be a quieter, more contemplative service with carols, scripture, special music, and Holy Communion.  Communion in our church is always open to all who are present, so have bread and juice (or suitable replacements) ready to be blessed and shared.  If for any reason the livestream does not work on your device, it will reappear shortly after the service as a recorded video, and should work well at that time. Thank you for your patience as we work toward mastering a new skill in service to God.

If you haven’t seen it yet, click here to view the Children’s Christmas Program! It is a beautiful work of creative storytelling. You will hear the voices of our talented young people telling the Christmas story through Scripture and song while watching the story unfold in “lightbox” form.  Be sure to watch all the way to the end – you won’t want to miss the final scene!
