Updated Intro to Online Study: Seven Last Words

Hi! Our Seven Last Words intergenerational online study begins a week earlier than our other Lent studies, starting on Wednesday, February 15, rather than on Ash Wednesday (which is on Feb. 22 and is when the soup suppers begin, soup is on at 5:30.) If you sign up on the Sign Up Genius or contact me at kidsandfamilies@htumc.org, I will send you the week’s (optional) coloring sheets either by email or snail mail (or let me know and you can pick up a packet in person at church.) I will also send you a link by email or text to remind you to watch the weekly video when it goes live here on the blog. IF YOU HAVE SIGNED UP as noted above, I will reward every reasonable answer to discussion questions with a piece of candy (Hershey Kisses, Twizzler Nibs, Reese’s minis, Jolly Rancher) AND a chance to win the mystery prize at the end of the series. Please note that “reasonable” answers mean more than just one word answers and cannot resemble spam or bots. If you want to contribute comments but are uncomfortable putting your name on it or using the form below, you can send me your responses by email or text, and I will “anonymize” them and add them in. You still get the candy and an entry for the prize for each comment.

You have until the next video drops to respond to the previous week’s questions, so you get to do it on your own time, but don’t wait too long. Videos will drop at 6:15 pm every Wednesday from February 15 to March 29. This is your group too, so please offer feedback and suggestions to make it work the best for everyone.

If you would like to do a mid-series Zoom meeting to get to know who else is participating, let me know that too and we will schedule it, you fabulous ray of sunshine and connection! (Candy and chances to win also apply to the Zoom gathering.)

Don’t let me down! I don’t want to have to eat all this candy by myself.
